Pose Scholarship 2023: Haryana State Council for Science and Technology offers Promotion of Science Education (Pose) Scholarship for those students who are studying in Bachelor or Master Degree Courses with Basic & Natural Science Subject list given below. The Pose Scholarship provides to encourage meritorious towards science education and to support them for continuation of their science education up to higher level. Pose Scholarship 2023 Highlights:

Eligibility of Pose Scholarship Scheme:

• The students should have passed class X and XII Board examination from a school situated in Haryana with minimum 80% Marks. The students passing X or XII with 85% Marks from a school outside Haryana like CBSE/ICSE etc. have to produce Haryana Residence Certificate.

• The scholarships are limited only to the students who have taken admission in the first year during the year 2023 in basic and natural science subjects in B.Sc./B.S./ B.Stat./B.Math/Integrated M.Sc./M.S. or any other courses subject list given below.

The scholarships are limited only those students who have taken admission in the first year Session 2023 in basic and natural science subjects in B.Sc./ B.S./ B. Stat./B. Math/ Integrated M.Sc./ M.S. in any of the courses list given below.

Pose Scholarship Amount:

• 1st to 3rd year Students of B.Sc./B.S./ B.Stat./B.Math/Integrated M.Sc./M.S. Courses will get Rs. 4000/- Scholarship Per Month.And

• 4th to 5th years Students of Integrated B.S./B.Stat/B.Math/M.Sc./M.S./ M.Math./ M.Stat. Courses will get Rs.6000/- Scholarship Per Month.

Note: The Selected Students will get mentorship Grant (One Time) of Rs. 12,000/- in 3 year B.Sc. program, Rs. 17,000/- in 4-year B.S. program, Rs. 22,000/- in 5-year integrated M.Sc. program.

• Signature of the applicant
• Self attested copy of Aadhar Card
• Photo of the Applicant
• 10th Class Certificate
• 12th Class Certificate
• Enrollment Certificate from Head/Principal/Registrar/Director of the College/University/Institute.(as per Annexure-I)*
• Rural area School certificate of class 11th & 12th if claimed for 2% additional Weightage (follow Annexures).
• Declaration of not availing other scholarship(as per Annexure-II)
• Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Score Card/Rank, If the name appeared in the KVPY Aptitude Test, 2021 extended list.

Selection Criteria & Preparation of Merit List:

• First priority will be accorded to the students admitted in a reputed National Institute i.e. IIT, ISI, IISER, NISER, DAE-CBS, IISc in basic and natural science course.

• Remaining scholarships, if any, will be given to others admitted in a basic and natural science course on merit. Merit list will be prepared based on average percentage score obtained in class 12th board examination in English/ Hindi (better of the two) and best of three out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (i.e. Total of four subjects divided by maximum marks in four subjects = %age).
